    JOIN *.avi with subtitles

    hi

    Can I join, one movie I have in my computer (*.avi) with the movie's subtitles (*.s*), in only one *.avi file?!

    Someone told me I could do it with VirtualDub but then he had to go.. lol .. and didn't finish he's explanation.. prolly someone could help me..

    from "file" open video and feed first segment in...then hit "append AVI segment" and feed second file in...and so on...when they're all in hit "save as AVI".

      hit "append AVI segment" -> I can't select any subtitles..
      all I want to do is join the subtitles and the movie in one *.avi file..

        Sorry...I saw "join" and "AVI" and that's how you join multiple AVI's. I haven't messed with subtitles.

          There are some solutions that pretend to mux avi with subtitles, but i have never been successfull with that.

          Try different containers instead, like ogg or mkv (matroska). Use VirtualDubMod for that.

          bsplayer is a playback solution

          if you only have one subtitle, vobsub can help you play it; or you can hard-encode it in the video stream
