i'm completly dunno understand coz i'm not 2 good at "computer thing"

u need to use codec like divx, u used uncompressed avi that gives u huge file.

if u just dont understand how to do divx conversion even after guides, only one thing u can do..

get dr divx frm www.divx.com, open/load ur mpeg file.
then use make x files of x size say 1 file of 350 mb of size
    now encode.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

i ask my friend and he said my divx codec was wrong. cause when i choose audio-compression-mpeg layer 3 (i did this according to the guides) there isn't 128kbs in da box. the max is only 56 kbs

      is that right?

thx anyway,i'll try to figure it out by myself cause i'm curious

divx codec is for video compression. mp3 codecs are for audio compression. you will need to get an mp3 codec to compress audio. Search for Fraunhofer or Radium codec, which allows u to use up to 320 kbps bitrate.

What do you mean the divx codec is wrong?
Oh, i think maybe you need the pro version. Not sure if you can encode using the free one, it may be decode only.

On a related topic, i have a question i posted in another forum topic which sort of relates to this topic. I may have posted in the wrong section. Any help there would be appreciated.
Talk about the AVI file container, and the Divx/Xvid codecs that are most commonly found in AVI files
