I'm having audio sync problems and more...

I'm running The Playa, and have been for quite some time, I get most of my movies off Morpheus and generaly, I'm completely thrilled.

My problem is that I sometimes get movies with the sound out of sync, non existent, or weirdly broken-up with a kind of skipping/anoyingness. I was wondering if these files were hopelessely corrupt (in which case I'll just erase them), or whether or not I was missing some tool or codec(s) that fixe(s) this type of problem.

If the files are salvageable, how do I salvage them? What do I have to download? Where from? How do I avoid this in the future? Why are we here?....(that last one is not to be taken too seriousely - unless you have an answer).

    Thanks for your help

"in which case I'll just erase them"

In light of the fact that you've not created the files, it would require an awful lot of speculation to address the myriad problems you've described. I'd suggest that you just chalk it up to "sometimes you get what you pay for", erase the files - and continue to seek the meaning of Life - which is, by the way...
