    my nikon uses comfact flash CF card not sd card.
    i uses kingston 256 mb with 5 yrs warrenty.
    but seen kingston sd cards with lifetime warrenty.
    Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

          My computer runs really slow as it is and even slower when uploading stuff from my cam would i benefit more from ddoing a system restore or getting a hard-drive specificaly for the dvd cam stuff?

            well when u copy frm cam to pc ur harddrive in use makes ur pc runs slow if u do things that time. same if u edit or render video.

            yes second harddrive will make a difference.

            cant say if a system restore will do any good in this matter.......

              oh. well what if their iis alot of songs and other programs on my computer that would be deleted. Or what about a defrag?

                i'd suggest not to run anything else when transfering you rmovies... this way full processor power and HDD activity is concentrated on the transfer which should speed it up.

                      Ok new problem
                      I bought a sony handycam dvd r disk andd am trying to upload on my hitachi software and it say the disk in drive e is not compatble plus i bought a firewire cable which is also not compatable with the hitachi dvd cam the hitachi cam only is usb 2.0 enabled so in closing my two ?'s are 1.) HOw do I upload the video on the sony handycam disk to my comp? and 2.) Is it possible to change the camcorder so it is firweire compatable or do I always have to go through the hitachi software save to a file then open and upload in pinnacle 9? This is truly becoming a pain is the@$$!! Somebody Please help!!!
