Converting wmv's to Avi's ?

I use a digi-cam dv imported through windows movie maker. It renders movies in wmv format. My mission is to get the file size as little as possible with acceptable quality. I dl'd virtualdub but it only compresses mpegs & avi's... How can I switch my wmv's to avi's?

You could try and use a program called "AVS Video Converter". The program will allow you to convert different video formats to other formats-in your case, WMV to AVI. The program is shareware, but there are some limitations. You can then use Virtual Dub or VirtualDubMod to compress to Divx or Xvid afterwards.Visit this link:
