MP3 in a DVD. Help Please

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and also to Digital media. I have tons of mp3 files which I want to store on a DVD & play it on a standalone player. As these files are recorded by me they are not available anywhere else.

Could anyone suggest a good way to do this?

    Thanks & regards in advance.

My stand-alone player doesn't care whether mp3's are on CD or DVD. Have you just tried burning a few on DVD just as you would CD-R and sticking it in the player?

      MP3 in a DVD

      Dear DarkMatter,

Could you just tell me on what software you burned it with and under what options. I have already wasted a number of DVDs using Nero Express 6.xx using the DVD ISO option.

      Thanks in advance,

      Yours,

      Srothriyan.

Are you able to play an mp3 CD? I simply burned them as ISO/data files. My DVD player assumes any data disc is mp3. The full version of Nero has an audio DVD option but this will convert your mp3's to cd audio format and you'll get about 7 hours of music. You should try finding your DVD player manufacturer's web site or check your owners manual to see what format an mp3 DVD needs to be in. I would be suprised if it is different than mp3 CD.
