    is there any vcd buring software that dosent take a couple hours 2 do?

    i use nero and it takes such a long time! is there any thing else!

    the only prob is that u have to get a vcd mpeg video file to burn as vcd, which nero automatically should do if u input other video type

    other possiblity would be to use tmpeg enc to make vcd video file first and then burn this file with nero (so 2 steps instead of 1)

      thank u!! so if i jus burn the mpeg insted of avi but the mpg is so huge that i cant fit it on a cd!!! ne way i could compress an mpeg

        -reduce the bitrate of the mpeg.
        -remove portions of the movie (usually credits or intro)
        -purchase a cd with a larger capacity (800 mb cd's are available)

        However, typically to preserve quality the mpeg file is cut, this is normally done with TMPGEnc, though many other softwares for cutting/joining mpegs are available.

        TMPGEnc, VCDeasy, are two softwares capable of creating vcd's. TMPGEnc is the "popular choice". It can create, mpegs, vcd's, svcd's, and avi's. To avoid, corruption try to first convert the avi to mpeg format. The time required usually, depends on your CPU and any other software running on your system.
