Recording from TV

Recorded film from Ati tv card is saved as .mp2 file.
If I try to burn to DVD, Nero tells me the file is too big. Ideally I would like to convert to a format that the DVD player can handle.
Any info welcome.

Try authoring the MPG into DVD structure first, using something like TMPGEnc DVD Authoring (free trial), and then burning that with Nero. If still too big, then you can use DVD Shrink (freeware) to make it fit.
