Creating your own Intros

Is it possible to create your own intros for a DVD player? For example, can you hack the DVD firware so that everytime it begins to load a disc, it begind an animated intro? Or put up another logo instead of hte boring SONY or Samsung ones? Anyone know?

I doubt it very much and even if one could it would be decidedly dangerous. You'll more than likely end up with a player that lights up - just!! Suggest you just get used to the boring manufacturer's intro.
