my hard drive is not that much.
i was told that the best approach to convert a filmstrip from a camcorder into a dvd is to capture first in the pc before converting into dvd (mpeg2) compliant format then write to a disc. this would really eat up my hdd.

then somebody just told me that there is a software that can support direct dvd writing on your pc without video capturing.

anybody heard of "CliCK to DVD" software. got a download link to that???

actually, my hdd is almost full. remaining free space is
about 19GB from 120GB.
everytime i download video files (i.e. my kids bday for example), it'll take abt 20GB og either avi or mpg gfiles.

i was thinking of using "Click to DVD" software (heard from a friend) to directly write to a dvd-r. do you know any download site.

I believe there is a program called "DVD Santa" that is close to a "One-click" solution. However, if you have footage from a camcorder, you are still going to have to "Capture" or "Convert" it first.

The DVC150 captures in MPEG2...or if u have a true DV camera...ULead Video Studio will capture the large DV AVI files and convert them to MPEG2 on the fly. I believe there are ways to capture in DivX AVI format which is much smaller, too.
