NTSC to PAL

I am trying to convert ntsc (us) dvd's that I have aquired from work to PAL. Each time I do this I have wasted a dvd, I have used dvd shrink and had it at region free but it doesn't work. Am I using the wrong program and if so what program will allow me to convert the dvd?

In addition to making the DVD region free, you have to convert the FORMAT from NTSC to PAL (unless you have a standalone DVD player that can play both formats) - and it's no simple task, nor are the results perfect.

not worth the effort . see dvd player section of videohelp.com to see if your player can play NTSC format. Sometimes it is as simple as keying in a code with the remote control.
