1) Load the original .AVI video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box -
here it is , everything seems to be ok until i have encoded it then i get the judder in the picture , not just on this movie but all avi moviesAttached FilesComment

1) Albeit not likely, I wonder if the fact that your audiostream is 9 seconds shorter than your videostream is the (a) cause of your difficulty
2) "i have been changing the settings to pal"
Hopefully, you've used the PAL DVD template/"Wizard" to accomplish this...

"When i encode i always change it to pal , maybe i should change it to ntsc ?"
If you are located in a region that uses PAL format (U.K., for example), you should encode as PAL. If you live in a region that uses NTSC format (U.S., for example), you should encode as NTSC.
Your .AVI (23.976fps) is encoded as NTSC...Comment
