    Here's hoping - Let us know how it goes ;>}

                Naaah - I'm sure you know he (the Shrek king - or was he only a prince?) was a loser.

                Besides, you should remember your roots - when you first diligently copied down instructions you were given by "somebody" for converting DVDs to .AVIs, VCDs, etc. ;>}

                  My avatar was King Farquaad. The king that was suppose to marry Princess Fionna. Actually, he was a prince until he got married.

                  I have no recollection of who that was. lmao

                    OK. . . I must've missed out on some things.

                    Speaking of dvd to avi - I am looking into a hardware based solution. I really want the nvidia nvtv dual tuner but don't like the price on any brand. Any suggestions? I am installing Media Center 2005 this summer as soon as I get the tuner, and the compatibility list is really short. . .

                      If you already have a DVD burner/reader as part of your PC setup, there's no other hardware that you need, or that could enhance your ability, to convert DVDs to .AVI format...
