We have a Sony TV, a Sony Receiver, a DVD Player and Video player and a Satelite

We finally got the satelite hooked up to the TV but do not know how to hook up the other pieces. How can we run the Satelite to the Sony Receiver and then to the TV? How can we hook up the Video and Dvd players via the Sony Receiver? This is proabbly a dumb question and I am sorry.

    Thank you very much!

    Karen,
Don't take this as a smug question...not intending that at all ...but have you looked at your manuals? The manuals usually have detailed, easy to read diagrams on what can hook up to what and where to hook it up to.

      1) "We finally got the satelite hooked up to the TV"

(Just kidding) - That's got to be an awfully long cable. You should get a satellite dish instead...

      2) Exactly what are you describing as a "Video player" as opposed to a "DVD player"?

      3) Doesn't the seller of the satellite dish provide installation and system inter-connecting?

Thanks. We do have a satellite dish. They did hook it up when we got it several years ago. All of these pieces are older with poor manuals. Sony helped us hook up the satelite to the TV and that's it.
