    gettin it in

Here is what I want to do. record video in my tape camcorder, send it to my PC, edit it, and send it back to my vcr for copy quality results. Here is what I have. My PC is the HP pentium 3 850 with 25 gig free and windows ME. I have the mgi cinematic software. I want to obtain semi-professiional quality.
    Here are my Questions.
    1) what capture device would be a low cost method to grap the analog signal? would the DSBt100 be ok?
    2) Will I have to make 3 clips of 10 minutes to get a thirty minute video due to the use of windows ME(4gb limit)?
    3) Will I have the abiliity to overdub sound with this setup?
    4) what level of quality can I expect compared to the straight analog signal? Any other suggestions?
