TMPGEnc 3.0

I am trying to use the TMPGEnc 3.0 trial encoding software. It says you can use it for 14 days, but when i intall it it prompts me for a license and lets me go no further.

I want to try it before i buy it. The DVD author works fine. Is there a decent free mpeg2 encoder out there?
