how do i split a video file into scenes

Hi,

I have a couple of large DV video files that I want to split up into scenes. I use Scenalyzer to split by scene when I'm capturing from tape, but it doesn't seem to work for files that are already on the hard drive. How do I do this? There are literally dozens of cuts so it would be unfeasible to do them manually.
