I know this might sound weird but... i can play anything after i switch my pc on. then, after some time there's no sound in media files, nor mp3 files can be heard. On the other hand picture is ok, and Creative Soundblaster "test" is also OK and can be heard normally. After reboot it's all ok again - for some time at least.
I hope this won't end with me being forced to reinstall whole system from the scratch. Any ideas what to do? TIA
The PC is: Celeron 1.7GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9550, SB-Live 5.1, Seagate Barracuda 120GB HDD, running W2K Pro. No USB devices added/changed recently, but the ATI came instead of previous GeForce card (drivers removed through uninstaller, DriverCleaner ran before reboot and installation of ATI).
