Thanks for the link mr columbo. However I have two questions:
1) I religiously followed the instructions using the ogg path (dled the dbpoweramp) however, I can't see the subtitles? What's wrong?
2) What burning software should I use besides nero? Nero botched the vcd I made. Any Ideas?
Please help and thanks again for the link!Comment

dbpoweramp is used for converting audio....what exactly did nero do?"One day men will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th Century". Jack The Ripper - 1888

No, There was note there that VirtualdubMod doesn't work on some ogm files. So I used the other path, via the command line and used dbpoweramp to convert the ogg to lame mp3. My main problem now is that the subtitles are not appearing on the video. Any ideas?
I'm looking for other softwares as I made a Nero vcd, there was a lot of pixelization in the quality of the pictures. Thanks!Comment

great, simple (and free) conversion of ogg to avi, divx, wmp etc.
Hi - I'm a newbie here so if I get things wrong please bear with me. I had exactly the same problem, wanting to convert ogg (ogv) movies to something more amenable. After some trials and hassles with various progs I found a great little free program that's simply called "SUPER" by eRightSoft. And it is, total control, massive choice of container and internal codecs, bit rate etc etc. Brilliant quality (given that yr original is in good shape yes?) The last build was dated June 10th 2009 so it's bang up to date. Honestly once you get the hang of the interface it's a doddle and free - just make sure you go to the super site (simply google erightsoft and SUPER will show up in the answers)Comment
