Join – split software for several video formats PC - MAC

Hi!

Can any one recommend me some program that allows me to split the movies I have in my PC into two CD in order to play them in a stand alone DVD player?. I am new at video editing so I guess that for the moment I need something very basic and easy to use. My DVD player runs Divx format, so I guess the conversion should not be a big problem.<o></o>

I have an apple g4 as well, any programs recommendation for both mac OS tiger and windows? <o></o>

many programs can do that, u have to find the one suits u or one u can use easily.

dvd shrink, many dvd to vcd/svcd copiers, or video editiors like video studio / pinnacle studio... , try searching the forum, ull find the answer.
