plays previews but not movies

on some movies i burn, my dvd palyer will play the previews but not the movie when i get to the movie it just stops and wont let me select the menu or anything i use dvdfabdecreypter and burn with nero, the hole disc, i am using maxell media MXL RG03

Could be a number of things, check the compilation in a Software player BEFORE you burn it with Nero to verify that everything was ripped. Also, it's a good idea to make sure playback works before you burn if you're using Nero Recode or DVDShrink to compress the disk data.

check the compilation in a Software player how do i do this with what program how do i make sure the play back works also i burned another copy but just the main movie and it plays fine so could there be a un ripped file or some that doent get me from the previews to the main title menu

You could use Nero Showtime (included in the Nero 6.6 update package 2) , or PowerDVD but they both cost $$. A great free player is Media Player Classic.
When I reauthor DVD's I test them every step of the way before I burn to make sure Everything works as it should.
