    help with dummy avi

    is it possible to create a sort of dummy file that can be played with filters running on it so that i dont have to re encode my avi.

    The answer is yes. You can use AviSynth's frameserving and its compatible filters to enhance your .avi files. AviSynth is somewhat hard to learn with all the scriptings. Everything always seems so hard at the beginning right? Get it from here:

      or better yet, download & install the latest (september 20) version of 'ffdshow' at http://www.free-codecs.com

      it will do pretty much everything you will need regarding filters, including crop, denoise, resize, brightness-contrast-saturation, deinterlace, noise, remove logos, sharpen, etc. all on-the-fly

      no need to write any scripts
