Pleeeease Need Help

I need some help regarding divx movies.
I have installed pretty much any codec i could find ( nimo,divx 3-5), but when i try to play a divx movie the pic is too slow and doesnt play correct with the sound.
I also tryed to use all kind of players like wmp, divx player 2.0, power dvd and the player but it doent work
I have a diamond viper 550 and a p3 500 and winme

I would install a less cpu intensive player such as Yahooplayer, Yeahplayer, or GDIVX. Secondly, reduce the desktop area to 640x480 and the color to 16 bit. If you use WMP, use v 6.4
