i think it is called compressing?!

i use 'ulead videostudio basic software' and it seems to be
running fine. the thing is that each video i produce-it comes
out realy huge in size. how do i make it smaller?i think it is called compressing?! how exactly is it done?

first u should consider, which codecs u would like to choose for encoding:
audio codecs: mp3 (lame or radium), or AC3, WMA2
video codecs: divx 3.11 alpha (lowmotion), microsoft mpeg4v2

(best u give them a try to get some skills with them, easiest audio for beginning is radium mp3)

are u able to choose audio- and video codecs in the export settings of your prog? i can choose video codec with my tool, but always have pcm audio, which i have to convert to mp3 using nandub

just save the files in avi and then u convert them into mpeg and if u need convertor just e-mail me
