What output files does WMM gives. For you to put in on a DVD, you supposed to have files with extensions of IFOs and VOBs.

I don't use Windows Movie Maker but is this what you are referring too?

If this is what you have and is saving it to a CD, it's most likely saving as a VCD or SVCD.

        [EDIT]Relevant thread.

Yes that is what I am using.. nad i can sve it to a cd... but then cannot burn that to a dvd to view on a tv. It doesn't give me an option to save it with any other extension.

Do you have any recommendations on another program that I can make this with ... I just want to put music to pics, and be able to play it on a dvd player.

There are alot of standalone players, especially the brands used in the far east, that can play VCDs and SVCDs since it's a popular format. If yours can't, don't worry. There are guides around for VCD/SVCD to DVD conversion.
in fact, we have a fourm for it here.

I'm wondering what your CD is. Open up your CD in Windows Explorer and tell me what kind of files/folders you have.

                  This is what I do:

Download a free trial of ULead Video Studio here:
                  www.ulead.com

Then open your video, and say "Share"

You can either specify an MPEG or AVI file to burn with Nero, or say "Burn Disc (you have to have a blank DVD in the drive for this to do anything) and then make the menus and such in the program. It takes a while for it to make the DVD - maybe 6 or 8 hours but Nero takes about that long as well.
