    Compressing and burning DVR-MS movies

    First question to the group:

I've been looking for the best method to record TV with XP MCE 2005, then save these rather large DVR-MS files to a DVD for playback on standalong players. I have Digital Media Converter which can convert a DRV-MS file to almost anything (albeit time consuming!), including DVD files. Can I use this file with DVD Shrink? Then burn with another DVD burning application?

My other methods so far either still keep the files too large for a 4.7 GB disc, or force me into compressions that really give up too much on quality.

    Thanks for any replies.

Nero Recode is by far out preforming DVD Shrink these days (same author) Therefore any files that are compatible can be used with recode...

DVR-MS are Mpeg2 files essentially should work... never tried.... anyone...?
