No space left on computer when backing up!!!

When I try to backup the dvd onto my harddrive it says I have less space then I need I"m down to 4400mb and there lots more shown on a friend's computer. He cleaned out all the old movies he has backed up. I can't find where mine are stored.I know it may be simple but I 'd appreciate any responses

Do a search for "VOB", IFO, or "ISO"

delete the saved analzises i no i had 100, ummm its in the C/ area i find the location somewhere on here, it was like dvd wont start post then there was like a link, ill go look

There is a handy utility called FolderReport that will scan HDD and report the size of every folder on it.
