2 gig audio file

hello my problem is that im trying to back up a dvd and eaven if i make the video at the loest qualety it dosent fit in to at dvd disk.
is there a way to compress the audio file. im using dvd shrink at the moment!?? plz help!

dvd shrink can't compress audio, you can only remove audio tracks. which dvd is this? you should only keep one audio track like the AC3.
