Despite my recent rant, I have persevered with Pinnacle Studio 10 and the DV box with a degree of success. I am copying some old (20 years plus) copied (not originals) VHS tapes to DVD and the results are much as I expected but some are producing faint colour banding especially in the red end of the spectrum. The blue end seems okay. Is this due to age of tapes or quality of process or what. It doesn't show when playing the tapes directly. Any help appreciated.
