    TSUNAMI MPEG Video Encoder XPress

    Ver 3.1

Still trying to find a way to easily remove commercials and is driving me nuts.

    Anyone familiar with this program?

    Thanks,

at desired start/end points, use "set as start frame" and "set as end frame". then use "cut the selected frame range" OR the "edit menu" button (i don't use this version) and in one of them there should be an option something like "cut all but currently selected area" choose that.

      LT. Columbo,

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but tried for a couple hours doing what you suggested and always end up deleting more key frames than I wanted. Ended up creating 1 commercial free segment at a time, saving them and finally piecing them together. Very tedious and guess will try yet a different program.

      Thanks!

i know, there is a program out there that auto detects commercials but it is not free. i know nwg knows it's name---i forget now. IMO anyway is to use tmpgenc dvd author to do the editing. just load the same file each time on the same track and select your start/end points that way. keep in mind you can only do it at I frames. i no longer use tmpgenc plus/express for this purpose.

Just finished another project and it actually wasn't too bad. I was trying to delete the key frames in the key frame list. Then I changed to setting start and end points one segment at a time, click OK and it saved the clips to the title page and then I would reload the original file (almost instantaneous) and move on to the next segment. Not too bad at all.

          Thanks!
