Gremlins?? Please look at log!

Used TMPGEnc to format file from hard drive for dvd...file was approx 1.30Hrs of film....It just plays a black screen for 4hours!! whats gone wrong?
If you know could you please let me know in a basic (newbie) way...so much of the jargon goes way over my head

Have you tried playing back the DVD files from the hard disc using a software DVD player?

Yes..they play fine direct from the hard drive. I can also back them up as a date format and again they will play thru the pc. I used TMPGEnc to covert and then burnt using nero...but like I said it has produced 4hours of black frame that plays on a normal dvd. Can you tell whats wrong from the log??

DVD high compatibility mode: No

Set your mode to "DVD Video". Drag the files from your project folder in the red VIDEO_TS folder (I'd wager that you don't have one of these on your written disk).

doohh, I have read that guide before, but I'm using Nero 6.6.0.13 and it bears little resembalance to that guide anymore, best I re-read the manual...but thanks

It shouldn't look too different to that guide supa. The interface is the same AFAIK. In any event, get to DVD Video mode and pop the files in the VIDEO_TS folder.

Got it Also took the time to look at some of the codec issues...got rid of kazaa's and put on FFdshow......( read the posts a little more carefully this time!).....Happily converting files Nero doesn't like with TMPEGnc and then burning back thru nero.........lots and lots to learn but thanks for the support guy's (n girls).
