    A good DVD viewer program??

In your opinion what is a good DVD program that will help me view my DVD's on the computer?? I have Nero Showtime 2 and when I view things on it, the movie runs slow and the sound gets all messed up.

    Thanks in advance.

Nero Showtime is a very good program. Sounds more as you have some hardware problems or a very slow computer that generates those playback problems.

What computer do you have? (CPU speed)

I have a brand new gateway...only 1 year old. It seems as if the CPU uses about 13%. I can not find where the CPU speed is, however.

It still seems to be running slow. I don't understand, though. My computer is new.

Are you watching files from your hard disk or from your DVD reader/burner. If it is the later one - perhaps the DMA settings are not enabled.

                    Some info on DMA.

When I try to change my secondary drive it doesn't change to DMA. It still says "not applicable".
