Video joiner??

I have been trying to get two of my avi's joined and I can not find a decent program that is free and will join these avi's. Anyone recommend one? Links? Thanks in advance.

How do I join the avi's, though?

Open the first avi and then go to menu File --> "Append" and select the second one. You can repeat this append as many times you want.

Then go to menu Video and select "Direct stream copy" and do the same on Audio menu.

Finally press F7 to save the joined avi

It says the audio have different sampling rates.

This complicate a little the work. You need to put the same audio sampling rates on both segments.

There are various methods, but the one that I know is a little long and boring.

Give me a little of time to write steps

1) Open the first segment
2) menu File --> Informations

See what is audio sampling

3) Close first segment
4) open the second segment
5) menu Audio --> full processing mode
6) menu Audio --> conversion
7) select the same audio sampling of the first segment
8) menu video --> direst stream copy
9) save the second segment

10 redo the append step
