        DVD-R Maxell 8X Japan RITEK code have been good for me.
        DVD-R Sony 8X (Sony ID) Taiwan have been good
        DVD-R Fuji 8X (Fuji ID) Taiwan have been good
        DVD+RW Sony (Sony ID) Have been good

        made in Japan is alway the way to go if you can find them. Fuji CD-R's I have always used were TY's

          I use Sony 16x -R, made in Japan.
          They have given me the best burns on my Lite-On units so far.
          Buy em in the 50 pack cake box and if the top spacer washer is
          octagon in shape, you got genuine TaiyoYuden g03.

            If you can find the 1X - 8X with the octagon spacer MIJ, they are 02's.
