I recently bought a Nikon CoolPix camera that has a video mode. The videos are in Quicktime format. Software was provided for still pics but not for videos. I want a simple editor, like the kind you have for editing WAV audio files -- cut out unwanted sections from the clips, concatenate clips, that sort of thing.
So far, any video editors I have seen are very complicated. They always work in terms of a "project" with incomprehensible object hierarchies and rendering processes. Basic functions like cut and paste are not evident. I can't make head nor tail of them.
Has anyone found software that works with digital camera Quicktime files that a simpleton like me could use?
