know how to make this bootable cd? you think there might be installation instructions where you download it?, of course not!

that's not the bad part, after I burned it, it was empty, nothing in the window at all, but it was closed at 1.76MB, when I renamed the iso to rar the bin file was huge? It boots to dos, searches for drives and gives me a Z: prompt.

just tell nero to burn the iso and try to boot to cd, looks automatic

well that didn't work as data, try bootable option this time in nero set-up? it would be nice to see if this would do it, as katono is the one with the drive.

btw if i test just to see if it will work, any chance of messin with the pioneer of mine?

it's empty when you view it, nothing, all in some invisible part, don't ask me why or how?

last time i made a boot cd was when uncasms posted a german link to memtest and I ended up with a german bootloader on my hard drive,
6 months later I killed it.

lol. yes i see what you mean - it's blank alright. some firmware link it is! forget it katono, keep burning! updating firmware should be painless and take 2 seconds.

                  thanx chewy.

                    blank disk with 1.76MB size?

something tells me it's got nothing in common with windows, probably lg burner language

these guys seemed to understand, figures

pretty sure they couldn't break it
