    AVI load reboots Windows

I am encountering a problem where Windows reboots when I load an AVI file.
I am running: Windows XP Pro,
    DIVX Version 6.2.2
    XviD-1.1.0-30122005 _Final Release_
    Using Zoom player 4.51

I load a playlist full of files and every so often when the file goes to load Windows reboots. I have asked arround and no one that I talk to seems to know what is happening.
I hope someone here can shed some light on this frustrating issue. I am trying to avoid formatting, but at this point it is seeming to me to be the only option.

I un-installed zone alarm and it seems to have stoped. Now the files are just not playing right. I think a format is due

          I hate win xp

So I formatted and just for fun windos is not letting me see the data on my 320GB drive.
It is showing that there is a 128GB partition and 170GB unallocated
Before the format this was one 320GB partition and has 240 GB of data on it.

Anyone know how I can get it back. I have large hdd support turned on and I have formatted again without the disk plugged in, installed SP2 then plugged it in.

          No joy
          Help I need that data
