    I have video, but no sound

    Hello,

    I have a problem with a Divx-movie, an avi-file.
    I installed the latest codecs, but when trying to play in Windows Media Player, he goes searching for a codec, and plays the video without the sound.
    When using THE PLAYA, there is no sound either.
    Is there someone with the same problem? Or does anyone know a solution?
    Thanks!

    I know what you're talking about

    Hi
    I have that exact same problem. It sucks cause I can't watch all my cool anime cause it has no sound Anyway, I've been trying different codecs but none seem to work. I'm going to keep looking so if I find one that does work I'll tell you. And if anyone knows or has any suggestions could you tell me 'cause it's not fun watching stuff, even with subtitles, and not being able to know who's talking and what's going on.

    Thanks

      Try the Tsunami-filter-pack. It has a lot of filters. You can find it on http://www.divx-digest.com/software/index.html .

        Right-click on the file, select "Properties" and select "Advanced". There should be descriptions of both the audio and video codecs used.

        Let us know of your success ;>}

          Thanks all for your help, I've installed the Tsunami filterpack, and it seems to be working!
          In the beginning I had no sound when watching .avi-files too, but I installed the divx-3.11, and then the new divx4.0, and when asked if I wanted to play the old divx-content with the new codec, I answered no, and now I've got that sound back too.
