I'm trying to help someone with a problem that they're experiencing.
When they play videos that are imbedded within webpages, the sound stops every 10th of a second. This doesn't happen with normal media players/software when files already on the computer, only with webpages. It also doesn't occur with CDs (so they don't think it's a problem with their speakers).
They're running an ADSL connection with IE 6, Win 2000, & Flash version 9 (QuickTime v. 7 & Real v. 10.5 plus).
Other things that I can say is the computer is pretty old without any indication of how much & over 70% of their C Drive remains unoccupied (don't know how much remains in all the drives).
Would this be a problem with a faulty (old) soundcard?
Any advice is appreciated & thank you
