Converting CyberCam files to DVD-burnable format

I have footage of my sister's cheerleading competition that i need to get on to a dvd. The footage was recorded on a JVC GR-DVF21 Mini DV Digital CyberCam. The camcorcer came with a pc cable to connect it to the computer. My problem is I do not know what softwear to use to edit and reformat the files so i could open them with DVDShrink to burn them to a disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can you post a link for that? im also using a jvc miniDV camcorder, trying to get footage i shot onto my computer... my jvc, grd70 says it only does stills, but isnt there a way to get it to do video? ( not sure of correctr term,sorry)
