    Adobe Première 6 / Matrox 2000

    Adobe Première 6 / Matrox 2000
I am an user of these programs. In Toms Hardware guide ( www4.tomshardware.com/video) I read that MPEG-4 (Divx?) is available as a plugin for adobe. I downloaded Divx5 but it doesn't appeare as a codec to be used for exporting a DV movie on the timeline. Has anyone information on that. Who can help, I am a novice to this all. Thanks in advance. :

you can export your timeline as a movie and choose mpeg 4 v3
i dont think the divx codecs show up as a choice..i have them and they dont show up in mine..but..you can export as uncompressed avi and then frameserve to tmpg and it will make a divx for you.

Thank you John for your speedy answer.
Tell you what, miracles still happen
I tried your advice, but low and behold: the divx codec was showing up in the export-video window and it works beautifully!
I downloaded the divx5 packet awhile ago.
Hope you can do something with this!
