hi,
Im currently using sonic digital media v7. I have used the feature called "create a project".
It works fine, iv added my slideshows, video, audio and even some fading effects to it. I havent compeletly yet mastered its full potential but have managed to create a project which meets my required standards.
The problem begins when i try to burn the project to a DVD (4.7GB) using this facility. It does everything accordingly but then as it is "building movies" it unexpectedly crashes the whole software.
I thought it was an error with the software itself and as it came already installed on to my laptop i had no cds to reinstall the software but instead i purchased "Roxio MyDVD Premier 8".
The problem here occured as soon as i realised that the project i had created on the older version was not even supported by the newer version.
The older version project file format is saved as .dvd and the new version of the software only detects .dmsm files.
I still have the older and newer version both installed onto the hard drive and would like any advice on how to simply go burning the project on to a dvd disc.
