    Capture/Editing footage from DVD-RAM

    Hi,
I have some footage filmed on a HITACHI camera recorded to DVD-RAM. I'm trying to get this footage onto my computer to edit. When I conect the camera to my computer via USB I see a few folders including DV_RTAV, which has the .IFO, .VRO, & .BUP files.

I think I need a certain piece of software to do this, can anyone help?

I'm no expert, but can you copy the entire DV_RTAV to the hard drive using Windows? Sonic's My DVD software can import and edit video recorded on RAM discs, but honestly, I hate their software-it can be painfully slow to work with. I just downloaded trial version of ULEAD Movie Factory 5, and it too will import RAM and allow for editing.
