    AVI Chunk Viewer

I'm sure that this is somewhere - so feel free to yell at me as long as you also point me in the right direction

I have a bunch of AVIs that whenever I click on them I get a window coming up "AVI Chunk Viewer" that says: This AVI was not prepared for sequential reading, the alternative 'AVI Splitter' will now let the default one handle it. The complete reinterleaving of this file is strongly recommended before burning it onto a slow media like cd-rom.

Most of the time it plays file, but 1 or 2 will play with the audio out of synch with the video.

I have tried DivFix on it but there was no change. I also tried searching this fine site and forum but could not find anything. As I said, I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere, but I am still learning (and still learning how to learn!! )

    Thanks!!

Thanks, I have the chunk thing sorted now.

But the audio is still out of synch! How can I repair that??

          Hi.

I am having fits trying to get rid of this program. I do not have the AVI Splitter, DVD2AVI, K-codecs pack, or this virtualdub thing loaded. Does anyone know where the files for this thing are stored and what their names are? I simply can't find the darn thing.

            Hi Sparrow,

If you don't have any of those softwares ... so what is it that you are trying to remove!?!?

Also, what kind of problem are you encountering that you are trying to remove this (whatever) program!?!?

            Thanks,

            G!
