I just got nero 6614 and shrink program won't work, a message saying nero API version 6614 and on the next line says using interface version 6314---it won't burn anything-- help would be grateful

Let me take a wild stab at this, it says "cannot connect TRF". You can search the Forum for more information. Basically you have two choices, you can rollback or you can burn manually with Nero. Even better for you would be to create an ISO with Dvd Shrink & burn with ImgBurn (free).
