I worked with a guy last month on his jvc mini dv cam, it had worked fine with
an agere chipset firewire card for over a year, somehow his computer got hosed with easy cd creator and ??????
We worked on it and never could get it running(video capture) and even tried my onboard via firewire, I loaded all the patches from MS
After a lot of googling I told him to buy a TexasInstrument chipset card,
they implemented the standard right, he's back in business, no patches or registry tweaks???????????????
