I posted a question in another thread about ripping out portions of a concert DVD to make music videos as part of my DJ service.
One thing we like to do as DJs with our digital audio files is normalize or gain them to try to keep a consistent sound level so we don't have to keep watch over each and every song that is played. Some of us like to go out on the floor and mingle with guests during dinner or lead dances, etc.
Is there any software out there to normalize or gain the audio on a video file? Right now I'm mainly going to use VOB files, but other DJ use other formats.
BTW, most of the prgrams we can use for our audio files will either work as we are ripping our tracks (normalize) or will work on a batch of tracks after ripping(gain). If there is something like this would be great. We can pick the level of normalization or gain we want.
