    HELP (DV to DVD)

I have a JVC Mini DV Camera, and I can capture the video from the camera to my computer. I also have a LG DVD burner (bought about two years ago) and I would like to burn the movies I captured onto DVD-R so that they can be played in regular DVD players.

I am completey lost. I do have the BHA Recorder Gold (but lost the serial # - trying to obtain one from LG) and I downloaded DVD Shrink.

All the information I find is on how to rip from one DVD to another, I would like to know how to format the capture files so that I can burn them onto the DVD-R.

Thank you for any help in this matter (please be gentle)...

You'll need a dvd authoring software program to take your files and create a dvd that can be burned to disc. Since your pc came(?) with a burner, there should be software pre-installed to do that. If not, then there's a wonderful, easy to use authoring program called TMPG DVD Author. It's not free, but there's a 30 day free trial you can download to try out. Go to the TMPGEnc forum to locate the link to download it.

Also if you have nero Vision installed you can use that as well. That is what I used to capture and burn my videos with. GL
