    Basic Question

    Hi folks. Thanks for the great forum. I bought my first dvd recorder yesterday, and I am wondering if someone can answer a basic question please.
    What will be the video format when I record a tv show? Can I then load that show onto my pc's hd & edit it? If so, what is the best software to do the editing?

      I will tell you something funny... "it all depends"!
      If you record one THEN put it in the computer and tell us the "properties"
      of of the recorded disk.. it will help GREATLY.
      Example.. if you put in in D: drive and right click properties of THAT disk it will tell the "experts" here more info, that way they can help you more!
