    Nero Vision Burning Failed -

Hi everyone. I'm new here. I just made a slideshow in Nero Vision and attempted to burn to DVD.

On numerous attempts, it gives me this error message seconds in to it:
"Unable to prepare data for recording: Prepare session failed: Transcoding of videos failed."

Here is my error log file:

    {Sorry, it said my post was too long, so I had to put it somewhere.}

Any and all help is appreciated!

Boy what a looooooong log! I know someone else will be able to help with that log, in the meantime try SSMM ,once setup this little gem will let you create an amazing slideshow with backround music . I've used it on a number of projects....

Downgrade to NERO 6 that should fix the problem. Nero7 is a crap!!

Thanks everyone. So here's the story.

Yes, I had about 9 minutes worth of pictures... I guess it didn't make it that far.

Also, tried getting rid of the .wma and replaced it with a .mp3, and it made no difference.

my nero 6 experiment shows the pictures being added at the first of the log

maybe you aren't doing something right

did you drag and drop them individually into the compilation?

I dragged and dropped them into the compilation... then set up transitions, then set up my background music.

I have faced very similar issues with NERO 7 and I was forced to downgrade to NERO 6. Even the ver 7 did not give any support to LightScribe feature. So I told you from my own experience to downgrade and 7 is nothing but a crap.

Okay, so if this doesn't work, I'll consider downgrading...

I changed the menu of the movie, and it made it a little further, but came up with the following error log:<nero vision="" project="" information=""><end of="" project="" information="">
(no actual error this time, just said didn't work and gave me a log)

                        </end></nero>

it gave you a buffer overflow error

something is not right about your computer, windows may be corrupt or you have some nasties running

Buffer overflow can either be a software issue or a hardware issue. Thats why I would prefer to burn the same project project using another software. It will tell where the problem lies.

                              Alright, I appreciate everyone's input.

But I used MemoriesonTV3 instead and it burned fine.

                              Thanks for the help!
